The Event: Creative Waves Bugcycle Community Garden Event | March 2024

Our first educational talk of 2024!

We were asked by the amazing Creative Waves community group to take part in a mini event at their Bugcycle Community Garden in Worthing,  We were there to give a talk to the fantastic children from Chesswood Junior School about our honeybees and beekeeping.

Our mission is to increase the pollinator footprint locally and champion conservation. One of the ways we do this is through educating people of all ages,  and the Creative Waves event was a great way to reach out to more children and engage them with the wonderful world of the honeybee.

We are always so impressed with how much young people are keen to learn more about nature, bees and other pollinators.

Our ambition is to educate future generations on the importance of the humble bee (and of course all other pollinators).
